From Dixieland to Broadway, to overtures and symphonic works, the 80-member Hollis Town Band has been busy rehearsing for its annual Pops Concert to be held the afternoon of Sunday, April 3, at the Alpine Grove Banquet Facility, junction of Routes 111 and 111A in Hollis. Start off spring right with an afternoon of fine music and fine desserts, surrounded by friends and neighbors. Doors open at 1:30 p.m. with the Hollis Dixieland Band kicking off the music at 1:45 p.m. The Hollis Town Band portion of the concert begins at 2:30 p.m. Before and during the concert, an enticing dessert buffet will fill the center of the Alpine Grove, open to all ticketholders.
Tickets, $20, must be purchased in advance. If you have a group of 10, you can reserve a table together - let us know. Tickets must be purchased in advance. You can buy them from any band member, at Toadstool Bookstore in Molford, at Darrell's Music Hall in Nashua,or online using a credit card through PayPal. There is no extra charge for ordering online. Be sure to give us your mailing address!
