Hollis Town Band Apple Festival

Apple pies waiting to be enjoyed The band's annual Apple Festival for 2008 will be held Sunday, October 5 at 2:00PM on Monument Square in the center of Hollis, NH It is cosponsored by the band and the Hollis Woman's Club.

The band program consists of a variety of marches, symphonic pieces, and popular music- admission is free. Available for purchase are home-made apple pies (baked by band members and members of the Hollis Woman's Club), home-made apple crisp, and Doc Davis Ice Cream.

In addition to the concert, apple pie and crisp, there is a face-painting table and other activities for young and old. A raffle will be held for various prizes, including the ever-popular chance to conduct the band in "The Stars and Stripes Forever".
